Comfort Food Party by Pottery Barn

Not Just A Mommy posted this party from Pottery Barn.

This awesome party is in the latest Pottery Barn magazine. They put together a comfort food party to go along with their  serveware that actually says 'comfort food'! Can't you just smell the mac & cheese?
How I dream of having all of these bowls...
This is my favorite item from this collection! I would love to have this personalized beverage server!

I am absolutely filing this away as a party 'must-do!' They've done all the work for you, with a free invitation pdf, hostess tips chockful of ideas, recipes, even an iTunes playlist.

There are more party ideas listed,
A great new resource for party ideas, party planning, recipes and gift ideas!

I heart Pottery Barn!

May the Force Be With You!

My husband Loves "Star Wars"
I found these Star Wars Cupcake Toppers at Williams-Sonoma

As a special treat here is a great Recipe for Banana Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing...
YUMMY!

Banana Cupcakes

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 stick softened butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup buttermilk
2 medium bananas ripe and mashed

preheat oven to 350

cream butter and sugar, add eggs, vanilla.

mix dry ingredients and add to batter with buttermilk.

fold in bananas with spatula

fill cupcake liners 2/3 full

bake 25 minutes, cool on rack

Cream Cheese Frosting

blend 1 stick of butter with 8 oz softened cream cheese, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 box of confectioners sugar (you might have to add a little more to make icing thick enough to frost), splash of milk

use a mixture to beat all ingredients thouroughly
