July 4th Festive Mason Jar Cups

These cups are a great idea for any party...
You don't have to use 4th of July paper...any paper would make any party festive!

This tutorial is from twoshadesofpink.blogspot.com
what a GREAT Party idea!
Here is what you need to make these:
8 oz Ball mason jars
 scrapbook paper
straws
craft knife
pencil and scissors

Trace your lid onto the wrong side of scrapbook paper...
...and cut your circles out.

Place the circle inside the screw-on lid with the printed side facing down.

With your craft knife, make a tiny  "X" in the center or side of your cup.

Pop in some festive straws and you have some pretty, patriotic party cups!

Watermelon and Blueberries...Flag

How Easy and Beautiful...
you do need a square bowl and rectangular platter (on my want list!)

I originally saw this on Pinterest, this is from Home is Where the Boat Is,

Make a flag formation of Watermelon, Feta, and a side of Blueberries~
The creamy, salty cheese is the perfect partner to the sweet, juicy melon.

Sounds great!!!
thanks for a great idea and perfect presentation for  Memorial Day or July 4th!

July 4th Washi Tape Art

This was very easy and fun to make!
My daughter made it from "Washi Tape", I thought it was Wasabi Tape!!!!
Basically it is tape with prints on it, but it is handy and fun!!!!
I originally saw this idea and tutorial on Pinterest from 52 Mantels,
she has a great tutorial and other ideas on her blog.
Here are the rolls of "Washi Tape" from Target, I bought the red and blue,
each comes with 4 rolls for $4 each. They are in the office products aisle.
Michaels and Joann's have Washi Tape as well.
I like the mixture of the flag with starfishes...I heart summertime!

Movie Night Ideas

Summertime..what a great time to plan a movie night!
These amazing photos and ideas have inspired me for a Family Movie Night....
choose a Movie, pick a night, buy mini snacks, popcorn and fun colored sodas....
Look how much fun this tray looks!
Buy your favorite candies in miniatures and arrange on a tray (any tray will do, but this party is styled P-E-R-F-E-C-T!!!)

Next Popcorn..
click here for link to get printable popcorn bags OR
use your own bowls, or your grocery store or Party Store sells popcorn bags!

Next are these amazing sodas!
I LOVE, really, really LOVE the ombre soda selection!!!!
If you can find pink, orange, yellow sodas and great clear cups...
go for it!
If not, your friends, family or whoever you choose to have over for Movie Night will enjoy any beverages you serve...enjoy the Movie!

Red, White and Blue Oreo Pops

This cute and easy idea is from Makoodle.com.
you need:
oreos
chocolate melts
sprinkles :)
lollipop sticks
wax paper

melt chocolate
lots of sprinkles :)
Remove one side of the Oreo cookie and place a lollipop stick in the center of the cream filling.  Put a small amount of melted chocolate in the cookie to help create a bond to the other cookie.
Place the other side Oreo cookie back on top of the cookie filling.
Let the Oreo cookie pops sit for several minutes to allow the chocolate to setup and create a bond.
Dip the Oreo in melted chocolate on both sides
Dip in sprinkles :)
Place the sprinkled Oreo pop on wax paper and allow to setup for 20-30 minutes.
Celebrate!!!
These could be made with other colors for different celebrations!!!

July 4th Punch

Red, White and Blue Punch!!!
I originally saw this on Pinterest and found this tutorial.
Big Bears Wife shares directions on making a beautiful Red,White and Blue Punch.

Ingredients:
Cranberry Juice
Blue Gatorade Frost
Diet 7-Up
Ice cubes

Directions:
(Either in a Glass or a drink dispenser)

Fill the glass or drink dispenser with Ice.

Pour In the Cranberry Juice.

Next Pour in the Blue Gatorade Frost, BUT make sure that when you're pouring the Blue Gatorade Frost that you pour straight onto some of the ice to gently add the layer. If you pour it directly into the juice it will mix!

Next, pour in the Diet 7up, also pour onto an ice cube to prevent them from mixing.

I suppose you could do this with any color drink combo.

You need to use drinks with varying amounts of sugar, since those that contain more sugar (such as soda) are denser than those with less (such as diet drinks), this makes it possible to actually stack one on top of another.
