Today I got a nice comment from Craft-Interrupted.blogspot.com and she liked the Good Deed Jar Idea.
I went to her blog (which is great) and I saw this adorable, clever Santa Beard Countdown Calendar!
There are no instructions, the blog is in Italian, but it looks easy to replicate.
